Landscape painter and draftsman, he portrayed throughout his career the Catalan landscape. Disciple of the watercolorist Torras Farell, he cultivated the landscape and the marine, as well as the drawing of ex libris. He specialized mainly in port and maritime themes, portraying in many of his paintings scenes of the port of Barcelona and the beaches of Llançà, Cadaqués and Port de la Selva. Framed within impressionism, he carried out his work with great simplicity and neatness of craft. He was a member of the groups Nou Ambient and Promoción Mediterránea. He traveled to France and Portugal, holding several successful exhibitions. He held his first individual exhibition at the Busquets Gallery in Barcelona in 1940. Later he exhibited in several galleries in Barcelona, and participated in the Spring Exhibitions. He participated in collective and official contests, being awarded in the Contemporary Art Exhibition held in Buenos Aires in 1947, as well as in the Salón de Otoño de Madrid in 1949. He trained painters such as Rafael Cuartielles, among others. His works can be found in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona and in the Museum of Villafranca del Penedés.
