Antonio Fuster Forteza was known by his correction and his balance, by his correction, his reduced production due surely to the respect that he deserved the painting or perhaps by the comfortable economic situation that he enjoyed. And this production has remained, practically in its totality, in the hands of relatives and friends. He did not disdain the new conquests of light, and often treated the subject of the humble people of his region with an almost British sobriety and a very Castilian feeling, always reflecting the beauty of the traditional and with a masterful technique. He also painted portraits, and attended painting exhibitions with some of his work, without caring about his reputation but receiving some honors.
