In this painting, the artist presents a sweeping panoramic view of the sea, whose waves crash against the shore, of which we see very little. At the same time, a series of rocks rise up in the middle of the water, causing the sea to rage and crash against them, creating fierce waves. The artist works with loose, dynamic brushstrokes in a very wide range of green and earth tones. In the background, the scene ends at a sharp horizon that separates the sea from the open sky, whose clouds form sinuous shapes.
