The son of Valencian parents, he studied at the San Carlos Academy of Fine Arts in Valencia until he was twenty-one. A set designer and advertising illustrator, he worked for more than thirty years for the perfume company Myrurgia. As a painter, his style is characterized by exuberant color and vigorous brushwork. His favorite subjects were Mallorcan landscapes, though he also painted Andalusian scenes, historical subjects based on the 17th century, and large group portraits set against scenic landscapes. He held exhibitions in Barcelona, the Netherlands, and Latin America. His work is represented in the National Art Museum of Catalonia and the Júlia Bonet Foundation Perfume Museum.
