JUAN BAUTISTA SOLER BLASCO (Gandía, Valencia, 1920 - Jávea, Alicante, 1984).

Juan Bautista Roig Soler was formed in the School of Fine Arts of Sant Jordi, and later he extended his studies in the School of Arts and Trades of Castellón and the School of Fine Arts of San Carlos of Valencia. After the war he went to the studio of Juan Bautista Porcar, and began his career focused mainly on mural painting. At the end of the forties he moved to San Sebastian, from where he moved to Paris. He returned to Spain and settled in Madrid, to finally take up permanent residence in the Alicante town of Jávea. Throughout his career he held several solo and group exhibitions, and was awarded in the V National and Provincial Painting Competition of the Diputación de Alicante.
