Painter born in Duluth, Minnesota, Don Fink settled in the fifties in Paris, together with the painter Paul Jenkins. There he was part of the French school of lyrical abstraction, with the result that his work was strongly influenced by European informalism. Since 1977 he lived and worked in Barcelona, and continued to hold exhibitions in Europe and the United States, in prominent galleries such as the Lors in London, the Sidenberg and Joan Prats in New York, the Rayuela in Madrid, the Sebastià Jané in Barcelona, etc. He is currently represented in the Withney and Brooklyn Museums in New York and in the Georges Pompidou Museum of Modern Art in Paris, as well as in other public and private collections.
