Beltrán Bofill was formed in Barcelona, in the School of La Llotja, and later he extended his formation in the School of Fine Arts of Sant Jordi, in the same city. After finishing his studies, he did his military service in Mallorca, where he met Anglada Camarasa, whose influence would be key to the development of his work. The encounter with the Mallorcan landscape was also crucial for the formation of his language. During these years his work will begin to be recognized, with awards such as the Barcelona Press Exhibition, which was acquired by the museum of that city. Impressionist painter of luminous and colorful language, focused mainly on the female figure, since his debut in 1972 he has held solo exhibitions of his work in various Spanish capitals, including Barcelona and Madrid, and also in foreign cities such as Paris, Monte Carlo, New York, Chicago and Tokyo, among others. He also worked as an illustrator of posters and books; he began collaborating with the publishing house RBA in his youth, in the collection "El Molino", illustrating works by authors such as Agatha Christie.
