"Pollença".

Measurements: 18 x 23 cm; 34 x 39 cm (frame).
Spanish painter and draftsman, in 1949, after a long convalescence, he devoted himself fully to painting. He returned to his homeland, Mallorca, where other artists, such as Rafael Jaume, invited him to persevere in painting. He came to work with great precision in perspective. He participated in the Grup Tago, also formed by Francesc Verd Duran, Merche Sofia or Antoni Giménez Toledo, among others, with its first collective exhibition in 1959. In 1960 he arrived in Madrid and for a time he had the opportunity to study at the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando. There he met Olga Sacharoff and the sculptor Francisco Otero, and also began to work in religious painting, as a result of the commissions he accepted. Brunet's work has toured Spain (Mallorca, Madrid, Barcelona), Germany and the United States. He was awarded the City of Palma Painting Prize (1984) and the Ramon Llull Prize (2003).
