This painting is distinguished by a chromatically exuberant composition that emphasizes the vitality and dynamism of the natural environment. In the foreground, a profusion of vegetation frames the scene, generating a sense of depth. The expressive application of color and the short brushstrokes evoke a warm and humid atmosphere, characteristic of tropical climates. Towards the background, to the left, the coastline is outlined, where the sea is shown in an intense and almost imperceptible blue.
Both the palette and the way in which the artist applies the colors with quick, short and vibrant brushstrokes, show the stylistic influence of the Uruguayan artist Pedro Blanes Viale (Mercedes, 1878-1926), who moved to Mallorca in 1893, where he came into contact with artists such as Rusiñol, Joaquín Mir, or Camarasa, who left an evident mark on the style of his painting.
