Brother of the also painter Miquel Villà. Resident in Masnou, Barcelona, from the age of seven, Guillem Villà Bassols developed his career together with his brother Miquel. He was part of the School of Masnou, and worked with special lyricism still lifes, figures and landscapes. His painting is characterized by a sober constructivism, based on the expressive power of the forms, enhanced by a very personal palette.
