Painter and sculptor, Angel Estrada studied at the School of Fine Arts of San Fernando, in Madrid. As a sculptor he specializes in works in carved and polychrome wood, having distinguished himself by the realization of several pasos of the Leonese Holy Week. As a painter he is faithful to the deep elaboration of purely pictorial resources, focusing mainly on landscape themes. Throughout his career Estrada has held about twenty exhibitions, both in Spain and abroad. His work is currently held at the MEAC in Madrid, the Contemporary Art Museums of Barcelona and Granada, the Pinacoteca Bauer in New York, the Museums of Jaén and Granada and the Gaudí Museum in León, as well as in various private collections, including those of prominent figures such as Anthony Quinn, Charles Bronson and Eddie Fisher, among others.
