The series "Cartography of flows" is based on the idea of transforming complex data (such as migratory movements, ocean currents, information flows, etc.) into aesthetic images that, although abstract, evoke the idea of maps and diagrams. These are not real or precise maps in a traditional geographical sense, but a poetic and visual interpretation of the invisible "flows" that make up our world.

Painter and graphic artist, Regina Giménez has held solo exhibitions in prominent Spanish galleries, such as Parés in Barcelona or Jorge Albero in Madrid, and also abroad, in France and Belgium. She develops a work full of poetic spirit, embodied through powerful metaphors embodied in boats and lighthouses, globes and maps, objects that evoke loneliness.
