Born in London, "Reggie" Weston grew up in Egypt. After studying art in Paris, he moved to Jerusalem, where he organized his first exhibition. There he taught art classes until his return to France. He achieved immediate fame after selling two-thirds of his works in his first exhibition in Paris at the Dana Vierny gallery in 1949. He subsequently exhibited in 17 exhibitions in Paris, London, Brussels, Philadelphia, New York and Tel Aviv. His work is in the collections of major museums in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and New York. They were also part of private collections, among others, those of Baron Elie de Rothschild and violinist Isaac Stern. After his untimely death in 1967, his work has been exhibited in Sydney, France and Saint Tropez.
