Painter specialized in the subjects of figure, especially in those of Valencian costumbrista type, Bartolomé Mongrell developed a luminist language, of Levantine impressionism, marked by the color and the light. Throughout his career he held individual exhibitions in important galleries, such as the Layetanas Galleries in Barcelona, where his 1934 exhibition stands out. He was also dedicated to the realization of posters, both advertising and institutional, highlighting his creations for the Great Fair of Valencia. He is currently represented in various private collections.
