Núria Capdevila studied Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona, specializing in painting and later taking a postgraduate course in printmaking. She furthered her training with scholarships from the Stadt of Wernigerode in Germany, the Inverness Printmaking Workshop in Scotland, the East Midlands Art Council in England, the Generalitat de Catalunya and the European Economic Community. Throughout his career he has won first prizes from Agrupació Mútua, Banco de Vizcaya and Club Turó Blanc, all in Barcelona; second prizes from Argentona and Sala Parés in the same city, and third prize from the Museum of Derby. He has exhibited individually in Spain, France and the United Kingdom, and has taken part in group exhibitions in Bonn, New York, Milan, Bordeaux, Berlin, Paris, Strasbourg and Munich, among other cities.
