Ricardo Sánchez Grande is a realist painter of notable recognition in the Spanish artistic panorama. Initially, his work included still lifes, portraits and landscapes. However, he made a name for himself in the artistic circuit for his acclaimed collection of railroad stations, a project he began in his twenties and with which he has won important national awards.
Trained in Fine Arts at the Isabel de Hungría School in Seville. He later moved to Madrid to specialize in painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of San Fernando. His favorite techniques include oil painting, grisaille applied to drawing and various mixed techniques.
