Oval portrait of a young woman with curly and golden hair, trimmed on an amber background, iridescent by the glow of the sunset. With an ethereal bearing, she evokes the figure of a nymph or floral deity, like the Roman Flora herself: she holds a flower with her right hand, a gesture that, without affected modesty, softly veils her naked breast, while her left hand rests on a bouquet recently formed with colorful flowers gathered from the field. Her features, of cherubic candor, reveal delicately fleshy cheekbones and mother-of-pearl complexion. The painting, of Italian school, is part of the neoclassical tradition of pastoral accent.
