The Valencian Fernando Tarazona was formed in the Academy of Fine arts of San Carlos of Valencia. Traveling painter, he traveled through Spain and America exhibiting his works in innumerable cities: Havana, Rio de Janeiro, Montevideo, Venezuela, Mexico, New York and Madrid. His painting works the Afro-Cuban theme, and does it with a bold originality. He obtains several awards and settles permanently in Havana. In Cuba he participates in the Annual Salons of the Circle of Fine Arts of Havana, where his works were awarded the Gold Medal in the XXII Salon of 1940.
