Roberto Mena Santana, began his artistic training, studying at the Academy of Plastic Arts of San Alejandro de la Habana, where he graduated in Information Design in 1989. Since he began his professional career he has participated in numerous exhibitions both nationally and internationally, highlighting countries such as Cuba, United States, Mexico and Germany, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Germany, Spain, Canada, England, among others. He has also had the presence of his work in editions of Havana Biennials, in Contemporary Art Salons of Cuba and in provincial and national salons. Today his work is divided into important private and public collections, among which are centers of great artistic interest such as the National Museum of Fine Arts in Havana, the Museum of Latin American Art in Los Angeles, California, the North Carolina Museum of Art, the Banco Sabadell in Barcelona, the Wilfredo Lam Contemporary Art Center in Havana, among many others.
