Much of his pictorial work, which has been defined as "expressionist abstraction", is based on stimuli related to music (as in series on Mozart's Requiem or Schönberg's Gurre Lieder) and literature, especially poetry, inspired by his readings of Goethe, Hölderlin, Lorca, T. S. Eliot, Auden, Juarroz, or collaborating with contemporary authors like Manuel Crespo, Joan Navarro, Gemma Gorga or Víctor Sunyol. He exhibited in galleries all over Europe (Germany, Austria, Spain, Finland, Netherlands, Israel, Switzerland) and participated on different occasions in the fairs of Arco-Madrid, Art-Frankfurt, Lineart-Gant, Art-Innsbruck and Kunstmark Dresden.
