Lluis Puiggrós completed his training with studies in graphic design and applied arts at the Escola d'Arts i Oficis de Vic between 1990 and 1995. He is a regular participant in fast painting competitions, which he considers a way to practice live the urban theme, safe execution, perspective, agile brushstrokes and dexterity on the canvas. He has been awarded in more than 200 contests, and he is passionate about the idea of painting in the street, observed by the public. His recurring themes are landscapes and urban architectures, with a predilection for big cities, skyscrapers and panoramic views. His works often merge with images of reality, allowing him to create an urban landscape in which he captures the vitality of our time through an impressionistic brushstroke.
