Romà Panadès studied Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona, and in 1982 he obtained a painting scholarship from the Fundació Güell. After graduating, he worked as a professor of pictorial procedures at the UB for several years, and later expanded his training with several courses in ceramics, mosaic and engraving. Throughout his career he has held exhibitions in Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia, England, Germany and the United States, among other countries. He has also participated in important collective exhibitions and fairs such as Artexpo. In addition to painting, he has worked in illustration and posters (poster of the Mercè, 1993, for the City Council of Barcelona), and has also collaborated with newspapers such as "La Vanguardia", "El País" or "El Periódico de Catalunya", as well as designing book covers and several scenographies. He is currently represented in the Fundació Vila Casas, the Col-lecció Testimoni Caixa de Pensions, the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Ajuntament and Diputació de Barcelona and the Banc de Sabadell collection.
