He graduated in Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid. Luis Moro has forged an outstanding career in the international art scene, exhibiting his work in museums, galleries and art fairs in Europe, America and Asia. His production, which encompasses diverse techniques and formats, has been recognized with numerous awards and grants, consolidating his position as a creator of relevance.
Moro's extensive list of solo and group exhibitions dates back to the 1980s. Among the institutions that have hosted his works include major museums in Spain, such as the Museo Tecnológico del Vidrio de La Granja, the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Esteban Vicente and the Museo Torreón de Lozoya. Outside Spain, his exhibitions have reached museums in Mexico, United States, France, Italy and Belgium, among others.
Moro's work has been exhibited at internationally renowned art fairs such as ARCO, Estampa, Zona MACO, Art Dubai and Art Madrid, demonstrating his ability to connect with diverse audiences and his presence in the contemporary art market. His participation in events such as the Anthropos e Kainos Biennial in Rome, and his recent installation at the Museo Tecnológico del Vidrio in La Granja, demonstrate his interest in exploring new artistic expressions and his commitment to innovation.
He has received numerous awards and recognitions, including the Castilla y León Prize for the Arts 2022, the appointment as Academician of the Royal Academy of History and Art of San Quirce, and various scholarships such as the Casa de Velázquez.
