Miháy Bodó studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Barcelona. His pictorial formation is related to the Workshop of Torres García. His teacher was Bruno Fonseca. Miháy Bodó's work, from his first paintings onwards, presents a unified search: expressiveness, construction, a full knowledge of the profession, a complete preparation in drawing and plasticity, metaphysical content and the complex use of color and materials. His previous studies in engineering and philosophy probably influence the rational structure of his paintings, but behind the image burns the temperament of the original talent. In each painting there is an interweaving of pictorial analysis and synthesis. What has been said above does not contradict the fact that, according to Bodó "a work in itself lacks importance, what is relevant is the daily rebirth and the functioning of the workshop, because the vitality of the workshop puts in relation the enigma of personal life with other human thinkers, living or dead."
