"ARCO Tiembla" is a work represented by a figure that shows light and darkness, also the kind and the biased. In an edition -February 2018- where the conceptual axis was restated: "The future is not what will happen, but what we will do". A future designed in the behavior of art and in the multicultural aspect of it in society. "TIEMBLA" is of the controversy over censorship, where the future of art should not be ruled in imposition, it should be the essence of creative freedom, full expressiveness and also to assume criticism. In 2018 it was not allowed, producing the unusual fact of the withdrawal of a work by Santiago Sierra, entitled: Political prisoners in contemporary Spain, which included images of imprisoned Spanish and Catalan political figures. A disservice to freedom of expression, a fact that opens the debate on how art should not be limited by political interests.
The image of "ARCO Tiembla" is an icon of the double face of the conceived thing: truth and hypocrisy. The opaque eye is that which does not allow to see and the transparent eye that reveals incongruities. Expression of criticism of that which should never have happened within the creative expression.

Víctor Herrero began painting in 1982, and his first individual exhibition took place in 1985. Since then, he has maintained an uninterrupted trajectory of work and research. Currently, he combines his artistic production with a publishing project: a book on children's creativity and its parallels with adult art in the 20th century. In his current production, the artist works with cut and pasted street posters, from which he provokes a new illusion with forms and images, resulting in works that oscillate between a pop aesthetic and a certain historical character.
