Painter and graphic designer from Granada, Juan Vida studied Art History, and since 2001 he is a member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Granada. He made his debut in 1968 with a personal exhibition at the Artistic and Literary Center of Granada, and since then he has held several solo exhibitions both in Europe and the United States. In 1984 he presented himself regularly in Madrid, at the Ovidio Gallery, and in 1993 he held his first individual exhibition outside our borders at the Trindade Gallery in Oporto. Two years later he will be presented at the Galerie du Fleuve in Paris. He has won several awards and has participated in various international exhibitions, as well as in fairs such as Art Miami and Arco. He is currently represented in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Seville, the National Museum of Fine Arts of Havana, the National Library of Madrid, the City Councils of Granada, Las Rozas (Madrid), Tías (Lanzarote) and Niort (France), the Provincial Council of Granada, the CajaGranada, Caja de Ahorros de Antequera and Caja de Ahorros de la Inmaculada collections, the Caixa Galicia Foundation, the University of Granada, the Aliatar Center and the Parque de las Ciencias (Granada).
