Painting signed in 1935. In the foreground extends a forest clearing, dominated by orange, amber, green and yellow tones. Bare trees, with thin and slender trunks, with branches without leaves, are interposed in the vision of the architectural background, where unidentifiable monuments are distinguished, treated synthetically and in tile tones. The sky is clear, with just a few light clouds. The palette is vibrant, especially in the foreground, while the architectural forms are represented in a more evocative and diffuse manner. The rapid, sketchy brushstrokes reinforce the post-impressionist character of the work.
