Measurements: 50 x 30 cm; 55 x 35 cm (frame).
Catalan painter and draftsman. He made many portraits of realistic style with a very careful technique and under the influence of Dominique Ingres. With the beginning of the Spanish Civil War, in 1939 he went into exile in France. As an art theorist, he was always opposed to the avant-garde movements and denounced the commercial systems of art and the role of art dealers.
