Félix Antonio González developed an intense pictorial activity parallel to his literary work, conceiving painting as a form of expression as essential as poetry. His work focused mainly on the Castilian landscape, to which he gave a deeply personal interpretation through a sensitive use of color, light and composition, managing to capture the austere and emotional character of his surroundings. Over the course of several decades he held more than sixty exhibitions in different Spanish cities, consolidating a solid and widely recognized career, culminating in the retrospective La vida pasa el alambre (2009), which brought together his production between 1979 and 2004. His artistic contribution, sustained and coherent, earned him admission to institutions such as the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de la Purísima Concepción and positioned him as a singular voice in contemporary Spanish painting.
