Villar's work stands out for its compositions and themes of naive character, which have led him to configure a unique and personal language. He began his training at the School of Fine Arts of San Eloy and completed it at the prestigious San Fernando School in Madrid (1952), where he joined the group La Cepa and participated in his first group exhibitions, including the Casa de Salamanca in Madrid (1957). Her individual debut took place the following year at the Sala Miranda in Salamanca, where she collaborated with the groups Koiné and Tormes before settling permanently in Madrid, where she consolidated her presence in the art scene.
She is represented in first-rate public collections, such as the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, the Museums of Contemporary Art of Elche, Toledo, Seville, Villafamés and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the National Library of Madrid, the Testimoni collection of La Caixa, as well as the Vatican Museum and numerous international private collections.
