Untitled.
Oil on canvas.

This work by Zush is a direct window into his complex and fascinating personal universe, known as the "Evrugo Mental State". It is a piece that combines mysticism, invented calligraphy and the exploration of states of consciousness.
The use of mixed media on paper allows us to appreciate transparencies and textures that give the work the character of an "alchemical manuscript". The chromatic richness of blue contrasts with the earth and fire tones of the central figures, creating a vibrant visual tension.
Zush, later known as Evru, is one of the most singular artists of Spanish contemporary art. Initially linked to the environment of surrealism and psychedelic art, he developed from a very young age his own universe based on the exploration of identity, the mind and the subconscious. His work encompasses drawing, painting, writing, digital media and the creation of symbolic languages. Represented in important international collections and museums, his career is characterized by a constant investigation of the self as an artistic territory.
