In this untitled work, Xano Armenter builds a vibrant pictorial space from the superposition of circular shapes and chromatic gestures. The color acts as energy in movement: warm and cold tones intertwine without a fixed center, generating a sensation of expansion and continuous rhythm.

The painting refers to a lyrical and sensorial abstraction, where perception is activated by layers and transparencies, rather than by a rational reading.

Because of its chromatic intensity and expansive structure, it is likely that the work belongs to the artist's New York period, a period marked by greater gestural freedom and an exploration of color as an autonomous field. The painting is thus part of Armenter's mature language, where visual experience takes precedence over any figurative reference.

Trained in Barcelona and later established in New York, Xano Armenter has developed a solid international career. He has had solo exhibitions in venues such as Sala Parés and Galeria Àmbit (Barcelona), Círculo de Bellas Artes (Madrid), Centre Cultural Terrassa, Castell de Benedormiens, as well as in galleries in Miami, Los Angeles and Tokyo.

He has participated in group exhibitions and reference fairs such as the Fundació Miró, the Armory Show in New York and ARCO Madrid, as well as showing his work in institutions in Europe, the United States and Japan.

His work is part of collections such as Fundació Eina (Barcelona) and La Bib Collection - La Santa Projectos Culturales, consolidating his presence in the contemporary art scene.
