The pictorial language of Pío Costa is based on the matter and the spontaneity of the stroke, with a vibrant palette that alternates transparencies and densities, evoking a contemporary expressionist register.
Pío Costa made his individual debut in 1980 in Barcelona, and since then he has shown his work throughout Spain, as well as in Germany, Chile, Uruguay, the United States, Bosnia and Venezuela.
