The Syrian painter Fahed Abdel Razzak El Kubessi, linked to various avant-garde artistic movements, traveled in 1962 to study at the School of Fine Arts in San Carlos de Valencia, where he stayed permanently. He was a student of Genaro Lahuerta in that school and when he finished his studies he devoted himself to teaching art in various centers in Valencia. He was linked to the Valencian artistic circles since the sixties and specifically to the Círculo de Bellas Artes de Valencia. In his work, he emphasized a figurative style focused on landscapes, still lifes and nudes, which stood out for their strong chromatism. He exhibited individually in: Ateneo Mercantil of Valencia, Círculo de Bellas Artes of Valencia, Popular Gallery of Damascus (Syria) and Popular Art Gallery of Warsaw.
