Alfredo Opisso was part of one of the most important sagas of Catalan art. Son of Ricard Opisso, he made in 1921 his first exhibition in Barcelona. In 1944 he won the National Prize for drawing at the Barcelona Biennial, and in 1958 the first prize for drawing Ynglada-Guillot. He also participated in the National Exhibitions of Fine Arts. He is represented in the Prado Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona, in the Museum of l'Empordà in Figueras and in the Museum of Valls.
