The artist would begin to be formed in the artistic world at a very early age, with only 12 years old he began studying industrial lithography and printing with Ignacio Senra. A little later he would continue his artistic studies in the pictorial field, working in oil and watercolor. He emigrated from his native Vigo, first to Madrid, to later travel to France and settle in Paris, where the architect Rafael Leoz introduced him to Le Corbusier. During his stay in the French capital he would also study the art of enameling in various goldsmith workshops. In 1954 he would spend a brief period in Barcelona, at the Masana School, although he would disagree with the teaching methods of this institution. In 1955 he returned to his hometown, setting up his studio here and experimenting with various techniques involving the use of iron and enamel. Throughout the following decades he held various exhibitions in Madrid, Valencia, Orense, Vigo, La Coruña, Bayonne, Caracas and Buenos Aires. His work starts from a realistic figuration in the 50's, to the work with geometric planes as in the piece we now present, from the 60's onwards.
