ABELARDO BUSTAMANTE (Cuba, 1898 - Vigo, 1982).

Signed and dated in the lower right corner.
Measurements: 98 x 118 cm; 117.5 x 139 cm (frame).
Born in Cuba, although of Santander descent, Abelardo Bustamante was a painter especially interested in landscape themes. His life and career took place between Cuba and Galicia, and his painting offers us panoramic views of both environments. Bustamante participated in numerous individual and collective exhibitions, both in Spain and in Cuba and other countries of the American continent, receiving, in addition, several awards for his work.
In this case the artist places us in front of the bay of Vigo, the city where he spent the last stage of his life.
