Scene of costumbrista character set in a rural environment. The composition is resolved by means of a loose and impastoed brushstroke, with special attention to the effects of light and the vibrant coloring of the landscape, characteristic features of the painting of small format linked to the Spanish landscape tradition of the 20th century.
The artist pays particular attention to the luminous atmosphere and the picturesque charm of the scene, integrating architecture, vegetation and figures in a dynamic composition of spontaneous execution.
