The work represents an open landscape characterized by the breadth of the horizon and the presence of an isolated tree that acts as the focal point of the composition. The painting is organized by means of a simple and balanced structure in which the sky occupies a large part of the pictorial space, creating a sensation of depth and stillness. The low horizon line and the extension of the terrain reinforce the idea of a wide and silent landscape, typical of many rural environments in Spain.
From the stylistic point of view, the painting shows a tendency towards a contemporary realism, where the representation of nature is done with a soft brushstroke and a subtle chromatic gradation.
