Salvador Masana began in the world of the art of the hand of the painter Joaquín Mir, and celebrated his first exhibition in 1940, being still a teenager. He obtained innumerable prizes and distinctions, and nowadays there is the Salvador Masana Museum in his hometown. He is also represented in the Victor Balaguer Museum of Vilanova, the Museum of Villafranca, the art gallery of the Abbey of Montserrat and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Madrid.
