Juan Manuel García Maldonado's style is distinguished by an unmistakable pictorial personality, where academic tradition and a profoundly free and contemporary look coexist. His work reveals a constant search for identity, in which gesture, color and matter become vehicles of intimate expression. Brazam does not merely represent, but interprets and transforms reality, endowing his compositions with an emotional intensity that makes them unique and recognizable.
Juan Manuel García Maldonado, better known as Juan Manuel Brazam, studied Fine Arts in Seville and surprised at a very young age by holding his first solo exhibition in 1958, when he was only fifteen years old.
