Concha Ibáñez was formed in the Schools of La Lonja and Fine Arts of Barcelona. She made her first exhibition in 1960, and since then she has organized exhibitions all over Spain, as well as in foreign cities such as Vienna, New York, Brussels or Holguin (Cuba). He has also participated in several group exhibitions, such as the Salones de Mayo, several Spanish biennials and tributes, the Salones Nacionales de Grabado and fairs such as ARCO or Artexpo. He has received numerous awards, including the first prize for painting Ciudad de Hospitalet (1966), the Rafael Barradas Award, the Florenci Freixas of the III Biennial of Manresa, the Donart of Barcelona (1995) and the Plastic Arts Award of Vilassar de Mar (1997).
