Introspective and very personal artist, Oriol Vila Puig is the grandson of the landscape painter Joan Vila-Puig. He studied at the Escola d'Art i Disseny Eina in Barcelona, at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona and in Rome, thanks to a scholarship in 1993. He has exhibited his work in the Fúcares Gallery in Madrid, in Joan Prats in Barcelona, in Santander, Valencia, ARCO, in the Art Gallery of the University of Malaga, in the Sandunga Gallery in Granada, in the Episcopal Palace and Tower of Doña Blanca de Albarracín in Teruel, etc. His work is kept in numerous private collections, in addition to other permanent collections such as the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid, the Museo de Bellas Artes de Álava, the collection of the University of Valencia, the Banc de Sabadell Collection, etc.
