A painter of landscapes and portraits, Tomás Fabregat was born in the town of Catí, in the province of Castellón, though he pursued his career in Valencia during the first third of the 20th century. He also practiced printmaking, and in fact exhibited several of his prints at the Spanish Pavilion of the Republic at the Paris Exposition.
