In this work, Sueskun approaches the landscape from an atmospheric perspective, moving away from a strictly descriptive representation. The vegetation is concentrated in the upper area, while the rest of the composition fades into brown and greenish tones through soft transitions that accentuate the effects of light, depth, and ambient humidity.
Javier Sueskun, who holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, has divided his career between painting and teaching, with a special connection to the Navarran art scene. In 2026, Tudela-Cultura dedicated the retrospective *66 Years of Learning (1960–2026)* to him, featuring nearly eighty works exhibited at the Casa del Almirante and the Muñoz Sola Museum.
