This work is part of the "Interpretation of Trees" collection, in which I seek a balance between the slender and the abstract, drawing on memories of trees. Yolanda Carretero Cacho has combined her creative work with teaching art at public high schools in the Balearic Islands, and occasionally through private lessons abroad. She has participated in numerous group art exhibitions in Barcelona, Menorca, Mallorca, and throughout Europe. She has also participated in competitions, winning or placing as a finalist in some of them. Her work continually explores and investigates new techniques and styles (engraving, watercolor, acrylic, Chinese ink, and life sketches in pencil) that she has developed during stays in Paris and London.
