David Casals Moreno is one of the maximum exponents of the new contemporary realism. Without renouncing the abstract painting of the previous century, his vision is based on an innovative figuration that enriches the history of art as a testimony of the human trace. Casals' production presents natural scenery occasionally altered by human action, housing in the essence of the work an atmosphere of solitude and stillness as an inexhaustible interpretive source of a perennial theme. His work is part of public and private collections, such as the Vila Casas Foundation.
