Oliver Johnson is a British artist who began his academic training in 1999 at Portsmouth Art College, then continued his studies by studying a degree in Fine Arts at Southampton Institute, and finally a doctorate at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. He began his exhibition career in 1998, and only a year later held his first solo exhibition at the Casa de Cultura in Paterna. His work can be found in relevant art collections among which are: the Diputación de Valencia, the Parliament of La Rioja Collection, the CAB. Centro de Arte Caja de Burgos, the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Unión Fenosa (MACUF). A Coruña, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Pego, Alicante, the Banco de Valencia Collection, the CAM Collection, the Polytechnic University of Valencia, the Angel Painting Awards Collection, the BANCAIXA Foundation.
