BID HISTORY
DESCRIPTION
ELISABETH D'EQUAINVILLE (France, 1954).
"Heeled shoe".
Acrylic on canvas.
Signed in the lower right corner.
Measurements: 100 x 100 cm.
Élisabeth d'Equainville put aside her true passion, fashion drawing, to begin a brief career as a window dresser. Years later she worked as a fresco artist on the Côte d'Azur. She opened her own studio on the heights of Nice to devote herself completely and definitively to her great passion, painting. Little by little he started sculpting, focusing on resin as a material. As in his paintings, one theme predominates: the high-heeled shoe. The theme of the shoe is a regular theme in his work.
