MIROSLAV SPADRNA (Czech Republic, 1968)
"Spring Dance" 2023.
Acrylic on canvas.

Measurements: 100 x 120 cm.
The work is situated within an expressive abstraction of lyrical character, where gesture, color and movement build a vibrant and celebratory atmosphere. The pictorial surface appears densely worked, through superimposed layers of pigment and a dynamic network of lines that generate rhythm, depth and a continuous sensation of dance.
According to Riad Al-Dulaimi, president of the International Art Foundation, the work stands out for the harmonious integration of colors and lines, capable of creating a "spring carnival" that catches the eye and conveys joy and vitality. He also underscores the artist's ability to masterfully balance impressionist and abstract language, leaving a personal and recognizable mark.
For his part, the critic Hisham Arnaut points out the conscious choice of acrylic for its chromatic intensity and durability, as well as the artist's ability to exploit the pictorial space with balance. He emphasizes the prominence of movement and light, relating the work to a contemporary sensibility oriented to dynamism, energy and constant transformation.
The presence of a barely hinted female figure is organically integrated into the pictorial matter, reinforcing a symbolic interpretation linked to freedom, identity and connection with nature.
Miroslav Spadrna is a Czech painter whose work moves between abstraction and figuration, generating an intense and deeply sensorial visual experience. Self-taught in his beginnings, before studying Fine Arts he had already achieved international projection: at the age of 25 his work was being marketed in Germany, the Netherlands and other European countries.
Spadrna has been recognized with the European Artist Award in 2023 in Milan and was appointed Coordinator of Art and Painting in the Czech Republic in 2021. He has participated in group exhibitions in Spain, including Berja (Andalusia, 2023), and held an artist residency in Garachico, Canary Islands, in 1997. Her work has received positive reviews and has been published in various media. Since April 2024, he has been a member of the Galería de Arte Visual Chicote (Spain).
